Mama Doni led a creative, exciting teacher workshop for our 100+ staff members at the annual Jewish Bucks County Early Childhood Conference. Teachers were dancing in the aisles and writing and presenting songs that they wrote during the workshop. Mama Doni is able to get even the most non-musical teachers to find their niche.

Ann & Nate Levine Academy of Dallas celebrates Tu B'Shevat in a big way every year. This year, the Mama Doni Band performed at a series of incredibly successful events – an educator workshop, middle school rehearsals, teo concerts and a Torah celebration for our Early Childhood. Overall, the total experience was flawlessly positive: from booking, to the pre-event groundwork laid out with Mama Doni, the availability of materials and the actual events, everyone was upbeat, positive, flexible, caring and genuine, A special shout out goes to Doni and the boys in the band who had so much patience with everyone!

Throughout the summer, Mama Donis spent time with both our staff and campers, teaching them the importance of Jewish music in a day camp program. By the conclusion of the summer, Camp Deeny Riback staff, campers and families, were all obsessed with Mama Doni and her musical abilities. She made a true impact on summer 2011 at Camp Deeny Riback and we are so excited to have her join us again this summer!
