I'm a little dreidel
Cryin in my drawer
Feelin' bored and completely ignored

Lyin on my "shin"
Wanting to spin

Chanukah to begin

And then one day
usually in December
It's like the Jews
Wake up and remember
And suddenly Im in high demand
They scoop me outta my drawer
The dreidel's in command!

I was making latkes with my Bubbie not too long ago
Now you call 'em shredded hot potatoes
I call em...shredded cccchot potahtoes!

It was the first night of Chanukah I was
Opening gifts after the Maozur
I was so excited, gotta new cowgirl chat!!
Just what I was chopping for! Yeeechaw!
